Don’t:

Chase us. That’s only gonna make it worse. We’re running around in a panic because of the noradrenaline. For most species its called the fight or flight hormone, but for bunnies it’s just flight — we don’t know how to fight. Our go-to battle cry is “Run away!”. Let us run. We’ll get tired — or hit by a car.

Don’t:

Worry about us. Do you know when we’re not panicking our heart beats at 250 beats per minute. During panic it increases to 260? I guess we’re basically always panicking. Sometimes it’s more noticeable than others.

Do:

Hypnotize us. If you can get us in your hands, lay us on our backs and stroke us down either side of our body back and forth for a couple of seconds. We’ll be hypnotized and the panic attack will be over.

Don’t you wish a giant person could stroke you down either side of your body with their thumb and forefinger and put you in a blissed out trance?

Yeah, just like that. Feels so good…
